Athletes and those who love to be active places a high demand and stress on their bodies, in particular their muscles and joints and sports physiotherapy can help deal with pain, improve performance and function and hopefully, minimise the risk of future injuries. Not only that, we aim to educate you on how best you can take care of yourself so that you can enjoy your sport confidently and comfortably!
Sports physiotherapy may include a customised gym rehabilitation program, hands-on treatment, taping and exercise prescription.
We also recognise those who enjoy and good run or the occasional soccer game with your khakis over the weekend! We will be happy to partner you in your recovery as you work towards getting back to your favourite sport with our professional guidance coupled with some hard work!
We pride ourselves on being able to return you to your sport especially after your injury or surgery i.e. shoulder, knee or ankle surgery or injuries. We will work with you to restore your strength and function before we embark on a return to sport programme where you will learn sport specific drills and finally a test to ascertain that you’re ready before you’re let off to enjoy yourself!
Book now or give us a call to schedule an appointment to see our Physiotherapist who will be able to partner you to recovery as we see you through your rehabiliation and an evetual return to sport!
